We scoured the Internet looking for interested, updated, and well written blogs. As it turns out, there were more seniors blogging than we had previously imagined. We found many blogs from the ageless project, but many more we found by looking through the blog catalogs of the blogs we had already selected. If you have a blog that you think deserves inclusion into this list, please fill out the contact us button at the top of the page. Please take a look around these blogs. Some many inspire you to start writing yourself to create a written legacy for future generations or to invest wisely. Others blogs listed talk about fitness, and some discuss finances. Questions are answered in a Dear Abbey style, like questions on how much water to drink while exercising. Blog posts also cover recipes for Swiss Chard and where to find good online coupon clipping sites.
- Senior Journal A collection of videos and articles relevant to seniors put out by Darke Journal. They put out useful information like lists of toll free government phone numbers to call for various services. The senior journal also posts many youtube videos of interest to seniors, like on innovative walkers and wheelchairs as well as news articles related to seniors.
- Senior Living - Older Adult Lifestyle Advice & Information This page has a portal of information on seniors. They have multiple "Senior Living Guides" who write about many topics that are quite unique. For example, did you know that some car rental companies will not rent to seniors beyond a certain age? This blog collection has many topics including 'Baby Boomers', 'Retirement', and 'Smart Travel'.
- Serene Ambition : Weblog A collection of blogs headed by a former life coach. Jim Seleman says about himself that he is a "middle-age guy in the process of creating the rest of my life." Posts to the blog include articles about working 90 and 100 year olds.
- Caring for Aging Parents - The New Old Age Blog - NYTimes.com A Blog collection produced by the New York Times collection of blogs on caring for elderly parents. Expert authors include attorneys specializing and elder issues like powers of attorney and other blogs feature stories of interest, like a diary turned movie of a 1970's NYC senior woman.

- Boomers An interesting look at marketing to what is now a very sizeable contingent of America: the boomer generation. Though not seniors yet, boomers are taking care of their aging parents who have lived longer than any previous generation. This blog is written by marketing consultant Brent Green and talks about marketing health products.
- Empty Nest Expat Empty Nesters travel around the world with plenty of photos of sites and of food! Once the children left home, the parents followed suit, and their blog follows their adventures in Europe.
- Caretaker Related
- My Elder Advocate Advocates page for caretakers of seniors with various impairments. This blog is well written and talks about issues that can arise in the medical system in our country as well as their sometimes just conclusions.
- Minding Our Elders® A well rated and frequently updated blog for caregivers by Carol Burasack. She talks about issues related to nursing homes and assuasive living for senior. Other blog entries talk about Alzheimer's and falls.
- The Dementia Caregiver's Toolbox A caregiver's blog specializing in Dementia. Caretakers for memory deficiency related diseases require extra skill and understanding. Blog entries include posts about medical trials and keeping a safe living arrangement for patients.
- Health and Fitness
- Better Than I Ever Expected: Sex and Aging This is not taboo; this is sex for those 55+. Including tips and advice as well as stories about modern views on sexuality.
- ElderExercise A fitness blog that tracks the progress toward eerie goals. Though reading may not burn any calories, the stories and the progress the bloggers make is admirable and hopefully inspires more to take a fitness challenge.

- Boomer Humour A look at life by a humorous Baby Boomer. Their are funny comparisons of youth and the elderly as well as more honest blog posts to be read here. The blog is updated monthly.
- Life Philosophy 101 for the squirrelly senior citizens A popular and humorous look at modern life by Jon from Myrtle Beach. In one entry to the blog, he discusses his opinions of speaking in a political correct manner and in other entries on getting older and perhaps sharing a likeliness to Clint Eastwood.
- Senior Citizen and Baby Boomer Humour Blog This blog is updated nearly daily and has photos with captions and comics. Easily worth a minute each day to see how they will make me laugh next.

- Consumer Boomer A frequently updated blog with tons of financial guidance designed for Baby boomers.
- My Disability Blog An informational blog about social security for disabilities. Given the intricacies of social security, this blog is never short of material or words. The author of the blog is Tim Moore.
- The Reverse Mortgage Blog Dennis Haber writes extensively on reverse mortgages It is rather high level in its discussions; it may not be appropriate for general audiences, or for those who are looking for light reading and quick answers.

- a little red hen The blog of a retired knitter from Oregon. She shares photos of the moon, stories written about her granddaughter and other local interest stories from around Portland.
- Age of Rieson This blog of a retired Canadian science teacher (and PhD) shares insights from her life about teaching and other life experiences. Marie is an octogenarian and have funny stores to recount about the world's greatest Chocolate cake recipe and her father's 1920's Buick.
- I Remember JFK A nostalgic look at the way things were, especially TV and other media. If you like reminiscing, then this blog will be a great blast from the past.
- Kalilily This blog has run continuously for nearly 10 years, making it one of the oldest blogs run by a senior blogger. She writes about current events, politics, and others. One interesting recent post said she was in the richest 3% of the world, after linking to a global income compression webpage. She gives perspective and wit.
- Margaret and Helen This blog is too cute to resist based on the premise that it is two 80+ ladies who have been friends since college blog back and forth. In reality, it is a rather one sided blog written by Helen, who as of late concentrates her blog on politics.
- Making Ripples David St. Lawrence is now what he calls 'post corporate'. In other words, he has found new meaning to life in retirement. He writes to "I write to stimulate thought and possible action".
- Me and the Cat Lorraine O’Connor blogs about her grandchildren, of which she currently has five. She is a self described tree hugging blogger that writes about here career in the air force and
- Merrilymarylee's Weblog A grandmother to five boys, who has interests include gardening, knitting, and sewing. Mary Lee of North Carolina writes about the visitors to her backyard, including rain, squirrels, and grandchildren.
- My Day, My Way A retired teacher blogs about life from Florida. She writes memories and conversations from times past, but is not the most frequent updated of her journal.
- Ray's Blogging Again A 77 year blogger from Canada frequently updates his blog with photos from out his window, flowers, and sunsets. The blog also covers strange recipes created by Ray and nuisances from neighbours construction projects.
- Suddenly Senior The Kaiser family writes about their travels and family in Suddenly Senior. This is nationally syndicated and not actually a blog. However it makes the list because it is well written and they are even looking for new authors!
- The Goose Quill Blog This blog is written by a retiree from the Navy out of north-central West Virginia under a nom de plum of 'Goose'. Recent posts include the topics of baseball, astronomy, and guns.
- The Late Life Crisis The blog mixes humour and current events in the life of the author
- Time Goes By A group of female elder bloggers look at the time that has flown by. TGB also accepts user submissions. A notable post of late details the last drive of a senior citizen as he rolls his model T through the neighbourhood one last time before handing the keys to a friend.
- Your Second Fifty Written by Frank Moffat, who may not actually be senior at all. However, the blog is well written. The writing mixes humour and real life experiences and parables.
- Travel
- Chiriquí Chatter Don Williams, ex pat in Panama blogs about life overseas as a retiree. Recent posts include information on voting in US election overseas.
- Monk's Progress An ex pat in Germany blogs in typically very short form with punchy sentences. Most posts are single sentences that offer insights or pleasure able thoughts.
- My Itchy Travel Feet A travel blog written by Donna Hull. Recently cataloged adventures include traversing an ice field and coastal California.
- Senior Cruise Blog A blog with deals on senior cruise deals. Produced by a travel agent, this blog lists the best deals for those who are 55+ and want to cruise on the open seas.
